SERAP calls on NNPCL to account for missing oil funds
Abuja, Oct. 26, 2025 – The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has called on the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) to account for the missing N22.3 billion, USD$49.7 million, £14.3 million, and €5.2 million from the company. It particularly called on Bayo Ojulari, its Group Chief Executive, to identify those who allegedly diverted or misappropriated the funds and hand them over to the anti-corruption agencies. Think tank blames poor management of resources for Nigeria’s high poverty prevalence
Abuja, Oct. 25, 2025 – The Independent Media and Policy Initiative (IMPI) has blamed poor management of Nigeria’s resources for the high poverty rate in the country over the years. Oil rises nearly 2% on trade talk optimism
London, Oct 22, 2025 – Oil prices pushed higher for a second day on Wednesday, rising by about 2%, buoyed by hopes of progress of a U.S. trade deal with China and India.
