Akure, Nov. 27, 2025 – The Ondo State Signage and Advertisement Agency (OSSA) is partnering SunFest 7.0, a flagship end-of-year festive experience scheduled for Dec. 21 to Dec. 26, 2025 at The Dome, Akure.
This was announced on Thursday vis a statement issued by the Office of the Special Adviser to Ondo Governor on Advertising and Signate,
The statement said the SunFest would Feature a rich lineup – including Drive-In Movie Night, Boxing and Fashion Exhibitions, Kids Carnival, Karaoke, Fireworks & Carol, Live Band, Comedy, Games & Raffle, Lovers Night, Rave, and the Face of SunFest – the event promises entertainment, tourism value, and strong commercial engagement for residents and visitors.
“This partnership aligns with the developmental agenda of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, particularly in promoting creativity, strengthening internal economic activity, and broadening youth inclusion through events that encourage business participation and a well-regulated advertising culture.
“OSSA will collaborate closely with organisers to enhance brand visibility and ensure structured signage deployment throughout the festival,” it said.
According to the statement, Yòmí Oyékàn, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Signage & Advertisement, described the partnership as a proactive move toward synergy, public engagement, and responsible advertisement awareness.
He said OSSA would use this platform to engage vendors, exhibitors, creatives, and businesses while showcasing a coordinated approach to outdoor advertising that benefits both industry stakeholders and the public.
The Convener of SunFest and CEO of Hakuna Matata Ventures, Olateru-Olagbegi Adedeji, expressed appreciation to the SSA for the partnership and the opportunity to collaborate on an event designed to promote culture, entertainment, and economic value in Ondo State.
