Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Spokesman, disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday.
He said of the 29,052 successfully prosecuted cased, 17,676 had been conclusively dispensed with, while 11,376 cases were still undergoing trial.
The force spokesman also said 51 cases were currently under appeal at the respective appellate courts.
Adejobi said that out of the dispensed cases, 16,200 cases had led to the conviction of suspects who had been handed various forms of punishments for their criminal acts.
He said that the speedy dispensation of justice should be a reminder to all criminals that criminals have no hiding place in our societies.
Adejobi warned criminals to desist from their acts as the long and vicious arm of the law will eventually bring them to justice. (GBN)
