Lagos, Jan. 14,2026 -the Nigerian currency, the Naira, appreciated at the official foreign exchange market on Tuesday, closing at N1,420.25 to the dollar.
The currency had gained N4.75 against the dollar at the market on Tuesday to appreciate from N1,425 to the dollar which it closed on Monday.
Bid rates quoted by dealers at the market on Tuesday ranged from 1,418 to N1,424 to the dollar.
Meanwhile, the naira is being traded at the black market in Lagos between N1,485 and N1, 490 to the dollar.
