Lagos, Jan. 6, 20226 – The Nigerian currency, the Naira, appreciated to N1,428 to the dollar at the official foreign exchange market on Monday.
The currency had closed at N1,431 to the dollar at the market on Friday, thus appreciating by N3 to the dollar.
Bid rates offered by dealers at the market on Monday ranged between N1,424 and N1,433 to the dollar.
Meanwhile, the naira is being traded at the black market in Lagos at between N1,490 and N1,500 to the dollar.
