Lagos, Dec. 23, 2025 – The Nigerian currency, the Naira, appreciated at the official foreign exchange market on Monday, closing at N1,456 to the dollar.
The currency had closed at N1,466.50 to the dollar at the market on Friday.
Bid rates quoted by dealers at the market on Monday ranged between N1,431 and N1,466 to the dollar.
Meanwhile, the naira is being traded at the black market in Lagos between N1,480 and N1,490 to the dollar.
