Lagos, Dec. 15, 2025 – Aliko Dangote, the Chairman of Dangote Refinery, says petrol from the company will be sold at N739 per litre by filling stations from Tuesday.
Dangote disclosed this in Lagos on Sunday while speaking on new developments in the refinery.
He said that the new price would be a remarkable drop from the old and reflect the new pricing regime which fixed the new ex-depot price of N699 price litre.
Dangote gave assurance that the new price would be reflected by MRS and other retail outlets lifting petrol from the refinery rom Tuesday.
He advised other members of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) to patronise the company as the ex-depot price will still remain N699 per litre.
“We are going to start with MRS stations in Lagos most likely on Tuesday.
“Anybody who can buy 10 trucks, come and buy at N699.
“We are going to use whatever resources we have to make sure that we crash the price down.
“By the grace of God, within a week to 10 days, we will be able to deliver.
“We don’t want to see, at least for this December and January, petroleum products sold above N740 nationwide,” he said.
