Abuja, Aug. 5, 2024 – The Central Bank of Nigeria is to auction N216.09 billion worth of treasury bills on Thursday.
The apex bank will auction 91-day tenored bills worth N16.59 billion, 182-day tenored bills worth N51.34 billion and 364-day tenored bills worth N148.15 billion.
It is also to issue treasury bills worth N1.56 trillion in the third quarter of 2024 to match the amount set to mature between June and August this year.
Treasury bills are government securities issued by the CBN on behalf of federal government. Â (GBN)
