Abuja, Feb. 10, 2025 – The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has shifted its 299th Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting scheduled from Feb. 17 and Feb. 18, 2025 to Feb. 18 and Feb. 19, 2025.
The apex bank announced this in a statement on Monday.
The statement reads: “The Central Bank of Nigeria has announced that the 299th meeting of its Monetary Policy Committee earlier scheduled for February 17 and 18, 2025, will now be held on Wednesday, February 18 and Thursday, February 19, 2025.”
The MPC is the highest policy making organ on monetary policy issues in the country.
The CBN did not give any reasons for the shift of the date. (GBN)
