Abuja, March 23, 2026 – Chukwunyere Anamekwe Nwabuoku, a former acting Accountant-General of the Federation, has been sentenced to 72 years imprisonment by a Federal High Court in Abuja over N868.46 million fraud. He was convicted and sentenced for money laundering, after the court found him guilty of all charges levelled against him.
