Abuja, Feb. 8, 2023 – The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) on Wednesday elected Joseph Ajaero as its new president.
He is taking over from Ayuba Wabba as the president of the trade union
Ajaero was a former General Secretary of the Nigerian Union of Electricity Employees.
He was also a deputy national president of the NLC until his election as president.
Ajaero was elected unopposed at the end of the 13th National Delegates Conference of the union in Abuja on Wednesday.
The conference started on Tuesday at the International Conference Centre, Abuja. (GBN)
