Ibadan, Jan. 19, 2023 – Gov. Seyi Makinde of Oyo State did not attend the presidential rally of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan, the state capital, on Thursday.
The rally, held at the Mapo Hall, Ibadan, was attended by some other leaders of the party like Governors Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto), Ademola Adeleke (Osun), Godwin Obaseki (Edo) and Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom).
Makinde is a member of the G-5 demanding the resignation of PDP national chairman of the party, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, as a condition to support Atiku’s presidential ambition. (GBN)
