Abuja, Jan. 12, 2023 – Godwin Emefiele, the Governor of Central Bank Governor, returned to the country on Wednesday after his vacation abroad.
CBN sources confirmed that Emefiele returned to Nigeria on Wednesday and would be in the office today.
The CBN governor has been out of the country for some weeks on annual vacation which was said to have ended on Tuesday.
He has been embroiled in several controversies for sometimes now, the latest of which is allegation of terrorism financing brought against him by the EFCC. (GBN)
