Ogun shuts 3 companies over environmental pollution

Abeokuta, Dec. 3, 2023 – Three industries have been closed down by Ogun State Government over environmental issues. Ola Oresanya, the state Commissioner for the Environment, said he gave the order for the closure of the three companies. Petrol Subsidy: Osun State approves N15,000 monthly allowance for workers

Osogbo, Nov. 29, 2023 – The Osun State Government has approved N15,000 monthly allowance for workers in the state as part of palliatives on petrol subsidy removal. The state government also approved N10,000 allowance for pensioners. FAAC shares N903.480bn revenue

Abuja, Oct. 25, 2023 – The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) says it has shared N903.48 billion distributable revenue in September to the federal government, states and local government councils. A communique issued by the FAAC at its October, 2023 meeting indicated that Gross statutory revenue of N 1014.953 billion was received for the month of September 2023. This was higher than the N891.934 billion received in the month of August 2023 by N123.019 billion.
