NOC restarts training of varsity directors of sports as 1st leg opens in Ibadan

Benzina makes history as first player to wear hijab at World Cup

Lagos, July 30. 2023 – Morocco defender Nouhaila Benzina has made history by becoming the first player to wear hijab at a World Cup. The 25-year-old wore the Islamic headscarf as she made her first appearance at the tournament in her side’s 1-0 win over South Korea. Osimhen to earn additional N120m

Lagos, Feb. 27, 2023 – Napoli striker Victor Osimhen will earn an additional €260,000 (N120m) if he scores 30 goals for the Parthenopeans in the 2022/23 season. 2023 Elections: Police begin training for 79 mobile force officers
