Gusau, Jan. 6, 2023 – A Court of Appeal sitting in Sokoto State on Friday ruled that Dauda Lawal Dare, a PDP Governorship Candidate in Zamfara State, be allowed to represent his party in the 2023 general elections. The court set aside the judgment of the Zamfara Federal High Court barring PDP from participating in the 2023 governorship election in the state. Abuja, Dec. 22, 2022 -The National Assembly has postponed the passage of the 2023 Appropriation Bill slated for today. The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, cited the long cleaning process the draft budget proposal underwent, among other factors for the postponement. He said the Committees on Appropriation from both chambers couldn’t meet up with the submission of the report for consideration and passage on Thursday.
