Abuja, Jan. 15, 2024 – The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) is seeking for private operators to manage the Port Harcourt Refinery. Afreximbank disburses US$2.25 billion out of US$3.3bn syndicated crude oil facility to NNPC

Cairo, Jan.12, 2024 – The African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) has successfully arranged a syndicated US$3.3 billion crude oil prepayment facility sponsored by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL). An initial disbursement of US$2.25 billion has been made. A second tranche of US$1.05 billion is expected to be disbursed subsequently. This landmark financing is Nigeria’s largest crude oil prepayment facility and one of the largest syndicated loans raised in Africa in 2023. Shut down of Egbin Power Station reduces power generation by 676MW – TCN

Lagos, Dec. 19, 2023 – The Egbin Power Station has been shut down by the Transmission Company of Nigeria TCN) to fix a leaking gas pipeline.
