Dangote, Sinoma sign agreement on 6Mta cement plant in Itori, Ogun State 

Lagos, Feb. 2, 2023 – Dangote Industries Limited (DIL) has signed an agreement with China Sinoma International Engineering to build a six million tons per annum cement plant in Itori, Ogun State. Nigeria’s vehicle industry attracts $1bn foreign investments

Abuja, Jan. 31, 2023 – Nigeria’s vehicle production industry attracted over $1 billion worth of foreign investments in 2022. Global unemployment to rise by 5.8% in 2023 – ILO

Lagos, Jan. 19, 2022 – The International Labour Organisation (ILO) says global unemployment rate will rise by 5.8 per cent in 2023. A new report by ILO on ‘World Employment and Social Outlook: Trends 2023 (WESO Trends) published on its website, reported this. It also projected that global employment growth would be only 1.0 per cent in 2023 which will be less than half the level in 2022. BoI receives 1m applications for NG-CARES MSME grants

Lagos, Jan.13, 2023 – The Bank of Industry (BoI) on Friday said it had received over one million applications for the NG-CARES MSME grants across the states. The NG-CARES is an initiative of the World Bank and the Federal Government to support the recovery of communities, households, and businesses affected by COVID-19.
