Nissan, Honda plan to merge, creating world’s No. 3 automaker

Tokyo, Dec. 23, 2024 – Japanese automakers Honda and Nissan have announced plans to work toward a merger, forming the world’s third-largest automaker by sales as the industry undergoes dramatic changes in its transition away from fossil fuels. Abuja, Oct. 28, 2024 – The National Pension Commission (PenCom) has advised the Pension Fund Administrators, LPFAs, and Pension Custodians to suspend further investment in commercial papers where capital market operators and non-banks are engaged as IPAS.
