Court sentences two students to death by hanging

Ilorin, Dec. 14, 2022 – Two students, Abdulazeez Ismail and Ajala Oluwatimileyin, have been sentenced to death over the murder of a 300-level undergraduate of the University of Ilorin, Blessing Olajide. A Kwara State High Court sitting in Ilorin and presided over by Justice Ibrahim Yusuf sentenced the two students to death in Ilorin on Tuesday. Senate threatens Perm Sec over failure to honour invitation

Presidency denies knowledge of missing N89trn stamp duty fund

Abuja, Dec. 14, 2022 – The Presidency has denied knowledge of any missing N89 trillion stamp duty fund leveled against some key officials of the federal government. 3 gunmen killed while raiding INEC office in Owerri

Lagos, Dec. 12, 2022 – The Imo State Police Command on Monday said three gunmen were killed in the early hours of the day when gunmen attacked the INEC headquarters in Owerri. The Command Spokesperson, Michael Abattam, told journalists that a policeman was killed during the incident, while another officer was injured.
