 Abuja, Aug. 10, 2023 – A Federal High Court in Lagos, on Thursday fixed Aug. 15 to hear applications on the custody of Godwin Emefiele, the suspended Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria. Emefiele is facing a two-count charge bordering on “illegal possession” of firearms.  K.A. Fagbemi, the Prosecuting Counsel, had asked the court to hear the Federal Government’s application first. Abuja, Aug.10, 2023 – The House of Representatives Ad-hoc Committee probing allegations of employment racketeering at the Federal Character Commission (FCC) has ordered the arrest of the prime suspect, Haruna Kolo, a former desk officer at the FCC.
