Earthquake: Afreximbank donates $500,000 to Morocco

Cairo, Sept. 19, 2023 – African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) on Tuesday announced $500,000 donation to Morocco to provide immediate humanitarian relief following the devastation caused by a massive magnitude 6.8 earthquake. The bank said the donation was especially toward the hard-hit regions of Al Haouz, Chichaoua, Taroudant, Amizmiz and Marrakesh.
