Tinubu holds bilateral meeting with Blinken, U.S. secretary of State

Abuja, Jan. 23, 2024 – Anthony Blinken, the U.S. Secretary of State, has arrived at the State House to hold a bilateral meeting with President Bola Tinubu.

He was received at the forecourt of the President’s office at exactly 6.55pm. 

Government officials who received him include Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila; Minister of Foreign Affairs Yusuf Tuggar; Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris and Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake. 

After the meeting, he is scheduled to have a joint press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs before his departure later this evening for Lagos where he will meet with the business community. (GBN)
