Abuja, Nov. 30, 2023 – President Bola Tinubu has confirmed the appointment of Caroline Wuraola Adepoju as substantive Comptroller General (CG) of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS).
A statement issued by the NIS Public Relations Unit in Abuja on Wednesday said Adepoju announced her elevation to the staff during a parade on Wednesday.
“You may also wish to know that through the grace of God and by the benevolence of the present government, I have been confirmed as a substantive Comptroller General of Immigration,” she had said.
Adepoju also announced that some top senior officers, who took part in the last promotion examination, had been promoted to the rank of Deputy Comptrollers General.
She added that the date for their decoration would soon be announced. (GBN)
