Northern caucus in House of Reps pledges N350m to rebuilding Tudun Biri

Abuja, Dec. 11, 2023 – Members of the northern caucus in the House of representatives have pledged to donate N350 million to rebuilding Tudun Biri community in Kaduna State.

Tudun Biri, a village in Kaduna State, has become a centre of local and international attention in the past week after some military bombs rocked the village killing close to 100 villagers.

On Sunday members of the Nigerian Senate pledged to donate N109 million representing their December salaries to the victims of the bomb blast.

Some members of the House of Representatives have now pledged to complement the federal government’s efforts by providing assistance worth N350 million.

Hon. Al Hassan Ado Doguwa, the leader of the caucus, announced the gesture in a statement on Monday.

The statement was issued after a visit by the caucus to the community where they also announced a donation of about N45 million to the victims of the bomb blasts. (GBN)
