Minna, July 18, 2023 – A new born baby was discovered dumped in a river at Fadikpe area of Minna in Chachanga Local Government area of Niger State on Monday.
The baby was discovered when the people of Fadikpe community saw an object floating on the river with a swarm of flies on it.
One of the residents took a shovel and removed the object from the river only to discover it to be a new born baby with its placenta still attached to it.
The residents called on the security agencies to search for the mother, but no one could confirm who dumped the baby.
