Birnin Kebbi, April 16, 2023 – INEC has declared Nasir Idris of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the governorship election in Kebbi State
Idris was announced as winner on Sunday after the conclusion of collation of results of the supplementary election held on Saturday.
Yusuf Saidu, the INEC Returning Officer in Kebbi State for the supplementary governorship polls, declared Idris the winner and governor-elect of the state.
He said that Idris polled 409,225 votes to defeat his opponent from the opposition PDP, Aminu Bande, who polled 360,944. (GBN)
