Abuja, June 27, 2024 -Yahaya Bello, a former Governor of Kogi State, on Thursday urged the Federal High Court in Abuja to transfer his case with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to Kogi State.
EFCC has arraigned Yahaya Bello before Justice Nwite over allegation of N82 billion fraud.
Bello made the request through his lawyer, Adeola Adedipe.
He said that it was proper to hold the trial in Kogi since the alleged offences were committed when he was the Governor of Kogi State. (GBN)
