Lagos, March 28, 2023 – The Lagos State Government has approved partial reopening of Chrisland School in Opebi for physical learning ahead of the school’s upcoming examinations.

The State Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, announced this in a statement addressed to the school’s management.

She said that the state government had granted the school approval to open for physical classes for only students in JSS 3 and SS 3 to enable them to prepare for their upcoming examinations.

The letter also invited the school management to a meeting at the ministry on Thursday, March 30.

It will be recalled that the state government shut the school down on March 3rd following the death of Whitney Adeniran, a 12-year-old girl who slumped and died during the school inter-house sports on February 9th. (GBN)
