Lagos, Feb. 22, 2023 -The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has started distributing sensitive electoral materials to local councils in Lagos ahead of Saturday’s Presidential and National Assembly elections.
The exercise is being carried out under the watch of security agencies like the Police, Army, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, the Nigeria Immigration Service, the Federal Road Safety Corps and the State Security Service.
The distribution is also being monitored by journalists, international and local observers as well as party officials. (GBN)
