Nigeria’s GDP declines by 1.78% in Q3 2022

Abuja, Nov. 25, 2025 – Nigeria ‘s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) dropped by 1.78 percent in the third quarter of 2022 from its level in the corresponding period in 2021. The GDP grew by 2.25 percent in real terms in third quarter of 2022 against the 4.03 growth rate recorded in the third quarter of of 2021. African Development Bank approves $5.12m financing for emergency food production in Liberia

Liberia, Nov. 24, 2022 The Board of directors of the African Development Bank Group has approved $5.12 million financing for the Emergency Food Production Program in Liberia. The bank said in a statement today that this would pave the way for the Liberian government to support farmers as they increase climate resilient food production and mitigate the impact of the ongoing war in Ukraine. Gov Udom presents 2 aircraft to Ibom Air
