Akure, Jan. 24, 2024 – Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has nominated Olayide Adelami, a kinsman of late former Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, as his deputy governor.
Adelami, who hails from Owo, was a Deputy Clerk in the National Assembly until his retirement in April 2018.
He was a governorship aspirant in 2020 under the All Progressives Congress, but stepped down for the late Akeredolu. (GBN)
