Abuja, Nov. 23, 2023- Vice President Kashim Shettima is currently presiding over the fourth meeting of National Economic Council (NEC) since the assumption of office of the current administration.
The meeting is holding tat the State House Abuja.
The NEC deliberates and takes decisions on major economic matters in the country.
The council members consist of the governors of the 36 states, minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), minister of finance, the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and Chie executive of NNPCL, amongst others.
Top of the issues to be discussed at the meeting is the distribution of palliatives among the states. Â
