Abuja, Sept. 18, 2023 – Jamila Bio Ibrahim, the new Minister of Youth, has described her appointment as an amazing opportunity to work for the government.
She said this in her appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for finding her worthy to serve in his administration.
In the reaction to the appointment posted through her X, formerly Twitter handle, Ibrahim said it was an honour to serve under Tinubu’s leadership.
“Thank you, @officialABAT for the amazing opportunity to work for the government. It’s an honor to serve our nation under your leadership. I will serve as Minister Of Youth, I can’t express my gratitude enough to the @NGRPresident for providing me with a government. JBI,” she wrote.
Ibrahim, a medical doctor, a politician and development expert, is from Kwara State.
She is the daughter of Ibrahim Bio, a former Minister of Sports and Speaker of Kwara House of Assembly.
She was a Senior Special Assistant on Health Matters to the Governor of Kwara State.
