Abuja, July 31, 2023 – President Bola Tinubu is currently decorating the Chief of Defense Staff, Maj Gen Christopher Musa, and the other service chiefs with their new ranks following their confirmation by the Senate.
The new service chiefs were appointed by Tinubu on June 19, 2023 and the list sent to the Senate for confirmation.
They had already assumed duties before their confirmation by the Senate.
The service chiefs are Maj Gen Taoreed Lagbaja, Chief of Army Staff; Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, Chief of Naval Staff; and Air Vice Marshall Hassan Abubakar, Chief of Air Staff. (GBN)
