Lagos, July 9, 2023 – The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASMA) has confirmed the death of 18 persons in an accident involving an 18-passenger bus which collided with a truck at Agemowo area along Lagos-Badagry Expressway on Sunday.
All the passengers in the bus including the driver and the motor boy died on the spot.
The accident was said to have happed at about 8:00 am.
The driver of the commercial bus was said to have left the Yaba area of Lagos and was heading to Benin Republic when he lost control and collided with the oncoming truck.
