Lagos, May 25, 2023- The first aircraft of Nigeria Air, the country national airliner, will arrive in Nigeria on Friday, Hadi Sirika, the Minister of Aviation, has said.
Sirika said this on Channels Television, adding that the aircraft was painted in Nigerian colours.
He said that that the plane was arriving in Nigeria ahead of the commencement of the operation of Nigeria Air in fulfillment of the promise of the Federal Government to launch the operation of Nigeria Air before the end of President Buhari’s administration.
The minister said all the ground work for the operation of Nigeria Air had been completed for the next administration to conclude work on the airport city.
He said that the only incomplete item was the aerotropolis, the airport city, which was already 60 percent completed. (GBN)
