Enugu, March 22, 2023 – Dr. Peter Mbah, the PDP Gubernatorial Candidate in Enugu State, has won the election.
He scored 160,895 votes to defeat his closest rival, Chijioke Edeoga of the Labour Party who scored 157,552 votes.
Frank Nweke Jnr of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) scored 17,983, while Chief Uche Nnaji of All Progressives Congress (APC) scored 14,575 votes.
Prof Maduebibisi Ofo Iwe, the INEC Returning Officer in the state, declared Mbah the winner on Wednesday evening at the resumption of the final collation of the governorship election results. (GBN)
