Abeokuta, March 19, 2023 – Gov. Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has been re-elected in the Saturday’s governorship election in the state.
Prof. Kayode Oyebode Adebowale, the INEC Returning officer and Vice Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, declared Abiodun as the winner on Sunday.
Other constants were Oladipupo Adebutu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Olubiyi Otegbeye of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Abiudun polled 276,298 to beat Adebutu who recorded 262,383 votes, while Olubiyi Otegbeye of the ADC polled 94,754. (GBN)
