Kano, March 4, 2023 – The Kano State Fire Service says it saved 46 lives and property worth N95.4 million from 82 fire incidents in February.
A statement by the Spokesman for the Service, Saminu Abdullahi, in Kano on Friday, said eight persons lost their lives, while properties worth N31.8 million were destroyed by fire during the month.
“The Service responded to 35 rescue calls and 13 false alarms from residents in the state during the period,” he said.
The spokesman advised residents to handle fire with care to avoid fire outbreaks. (GBN
