Sokoto, Feb. 28, 2027 – Atiku Abubakar, the PDP Presidential Candidate, has won the election in Sokoto State.
He had 288,679 votes to beat Bola Tinubu, the APC Candidate, who scored 285,444 votes.
Prof Kabiru Bala, the State Collation Officer, announced the results in the early hours of Tuesday.
Peter Obi of Labour Party came third with 6,568 votes, while Rabiu Kwankwaso of NNPP came fourth with 1, 300 votes.
Bala said elections were cancelled in 471 polling units due to insecurity. (GBN)
