Lagos, Feb. 27, 2023 – Mr Gbenga Shobo, the Deputy Managing Director of First Bank of Nigeria, has resigned from the board of the bank.
An authoritative source in the bank confirmed Shobos’s resignation, which he said, might not be unrelated to a recent review of tenures of bank executives by the Central bank of Nigeria (CBN).
The apex bank, had on Feb. 24, issued a review of regulatory requirements of bank executives in the country. (GBN)
