Abuja, Feb. 16, 2023 – The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released results of its November/December 2022 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE).
Prof Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, its Registrar, announced this on Thursday in Minna.
He said the 59,124 candidates that sat for the examination were made up of 31,316 boys and 27,808 girls.
Wushishi said 11,419 candidates were penalised for various offences against the 4,454 offenders in the 2021 examination
He attributed the increase in the incidence of malpractice to the improvement in the strategy and technique adopted by the monitoring officers.
“This led to the blacklisting of four supervisors, one each from Rivers and Plateau and two from Ogun State for aiding and abetting as well as poor supervision,” he said. (GBN)
