Lagos, Jan. 30, 2026 – The Nigerian currency, the Naira, appreciated further at the official foreign exchange market on Thursday, closing N1,385 to the dollar.
The currency had closed at N1, 394 to the dollar at the market on Wednesday.
Bid rates quoted by dealers at the market on Wednesday ranged between N1,367 and N1,400 to the dollar.
Meanwhile, the naira is being traded at the black market in Lagos at between N1,460 and N1,470 to the dollar
