Tony Nezianya, the Public Relations Officer of NOC, said in a statement that this crucial three-day seminar was for female coaches, administrators, and technical officials representing State Sports Councils and Commissions within the South-South and South-East geopolitical zones.
Nezianya said that participants would convene at the Executive Garden Hotels on Okigwe Road in Owerri, venue of the event, adding that Prof. Florence Adeyanju, the esteemed NOC Women’s Commission Chairperson, would preside over the proceedings.

“In her remarks, Professor Adeyanju lauded the unwavering commitment of the Women’s Commission members in the South-East and South-South zones for their determination to proceed with the crucial seminar,’’ Nezianya said.
He added that Adeyanju emphasised the significance of their resilience in empowering female leaders within the sports ecosystem across these zones.
