Abuja, July 28, 2025 – The Gombe Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 32 suspects over alleged internet frauds.
The EFCC disclosed this in a statement on its on official X handle on Monday.
It said the suspects were arrested in Sabon Kaura and Gwalameji areas of Bauchi following credible intelligence linking them to fraudulent internet activities.
The commission listed some of the items recovered from the suspects to include: nine Samsung mobile phones, 15 iPhones, one infinix phone, three Redmi phones and two iPads.
Others are one Peugeot 406 car, two Playstation 4, one PlayStation 5, four Neonx Auto bike, eight laptop computers, one Maxi E50KWH generator and one pistol.
It said the suspects would be charged to court as soon as its investigations were concluded.
