EFCC declares 4 wanted over alleged CBEX fraud

Abuja, April 26, 2025 – The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared four persons wanted for their alleged involvement in the Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX) fraud.

Those declared wanted are: Adefowora Olanipekun, Adefowora Oluwanisola, Emmanuel Uko, and Seyi Oloyede.

Dele Oyewole, the EFCC Spokesperson, disclosed this in a statement on Friday.

He said the development followed the warrant of arrest and order granted the EFCC by a Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday for six suspects.

Justice Emeka Nwite gave the order following an ex parte application filed by the EFCC through its counsel, Fadila Yusuf.

The EFCC alleged that preliminary investigation revealed that the defendants used their company, ST Technologies International Limited, to promote another company, Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX), to lure unsuspecting members of the public to invest crypto cryptocurrencies on the CBEX investment platform.
