Abuja, April 3, 2025 – The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has increased price of its petrol to N925 per litre in Lagos and N950 per litre in Abuja.
The price increase was from N860 per litre in Lagos and N880 per litre in Abuja.
The price adjustment was observed on April 2, 2025 as some independent marketers in Lagos increased their price to N930 per litre.
Some of the marketers selling fuel at the new rates are NNPCL retail outlets, MRS and some other independent marketers.
The new price increase tool effect as the NNPCL new board assumed office on Wednesday.
President Bola Tinubu had sacked the board members of the company on Wednesday and appointed Bayo Ojulari as its new Group Managing Director. (GBN)
