Abuja, Dec. 4, 2024 – The Senate has set up a special committee to work with the ministry of Justice to resolve the contentious areas of the Tax Reform Bills.
Jibrin Barau, the Deputy Senate President, disclosed this at the plenary on Wednesday.
Barau, who presided over the plenary, said the committee would meet with ministry officials on Thursday.
He said the meeting would hold immediately in view of the urgency of the issues at stake.
The committee members include the Senate leaders, Tahir Mongunu, Adamu Aliero, Seriake Dickson, Titus Zam, Abdullahi Yahaya, Adeola Solomon, Sani Musa, and Tokunbo Abiru. (GBN)
