Abuja, Sept. 9, 2024 – The federal government realised N1.56 trillion from Value Added Tax (VAT) in the second quarter of 2024.
The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) disclosed this on Monday in its latest quarterly reports.
The revenue was 9.11 percent higher than the N1.43 trillion realised in the first quarter of the year.
It was also 99.82 percent higher than the N781.35 billion collected in the corresponding quarter last year. (GBN)
